Everyday full face make up staples

On days when I'm not working, I always tend to go for what I call 'full everyday' make up. It;s definitely more make up than I wear to work, but much less than if I'm going out in the evening or for a special occasion. I always reach for the same products so I thought I'd share them with you!

Base:

First of all, I use Smashbox Photo Finish Colour Correcting Blend in the salmon colour. I find it evens my complexion, particularly dark circles, and it helps my make up last throughout the day.

Then I apply Make Up Forever HD Foundation in N130. I find this is a really versatile shade, I can use it when I've fake tanned, and it still works when I'm a bit paler. Since I tried this foundation over a year ago I literally haven't used anything else.

I've included two concealers here because I switch out between the two. Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Medium is my holy grail all time favourite concealer, but it's really hard to get a hold of. With Tarte coming to the UK this month, it doesn't seem the concealer is going to be available which is a real shame, so this is kept more for special make up days. On not so special make up days I go for Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Rewind The Eraser Eye Concealer. It does the job but I'm not as impressed with the results with this as I am with the Tarte one.

Next I use my Sleek Face Form in Fair 372. This is because I can use it to contour, give colour to my cheeks and highlight, and it easily fits in my make up bag without taking up lots of space for touch ups throughout the day. This little beauty is a must have in any make up girls collection. Really pigmented and a stone cold dupe for Nars Laguna and Orgasm, all for less than £10!

Eyes:

You can see from the pictures that my Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Emerville 82 is very well loved. I've lost count of how many times I've been asked about my eyeshadow when I have this on. It's a gorgeous shimmery peachy champagne colour which gives a subtle sheen to the eyes.

I add MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Ice (can't find it online - sorry!) over the top to really make my eyes pop. I'd be lost without this! I fill in my brows with L'Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist in 03 Brunette, and set my brows with the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel. My mascara of choice is YSL Babydoll in Black 01. I love this mascara, but then I haven't met a YSL mascara that I didn't love. Its thickening, super black and doesn't flake!

Lips:

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a lip product junkie. I have more lip products than anything else in my stash. But since I tried the Buxom glosses, I find it hard to use anything else! Buxom glosses are hard to find in the UK but I've had a lot of luck on eBay. Buxom glosses taste great, feel cooling on your lips and last for hours. I love how they feel on my lips. The gloss of the moment is Bunny a pinky, creamsicle colour. I also pop a slick of Revlon Colourburst Laquerbalm in 105 Demure on and I'm good to go!

MAC Stereo Rose Mineralize Skin Finish Swatch and Review!

I'd heard about Stereo Rose for the longest time, and new that it was really difficult to get a hold of, and it was a small fortune to buy on eBay. I love Soft & Gentle MSF so much, when I heard this was being re-promoted I had to make sure I got one!

I bought mine online at Selfridges, it had already sold out online at MAC (I'd set an alert on my phone to remind me to buy it, how sad is that?!)

You can see from the swatch it turns into a frosty, rosy gold colour. It's got a lot of sheen to it so you need to be really careful where you place it on the cheek and how much you use. I'm a fan of a lot of blusher and when it used it the first time it looked terrible! After playing around with it, I'm really starting to warm to it.

Did you pick up Stereo Rose?
